In brief

The Pressworks is a stunning development of 48 one-and-two-bedroom apartments & a unique duplex mews house.

Built on the site of the former Pressworks, a Grade II listed gem that dates back to the 1800s, the building is being sympathetically restored and converted into 3 centrepiece loft apartments, showcasing a fine example of history and contemporary design seamlessly combining to create a unique place.

The site's historic boundary wall and a rear unit have also been retained and will house a beautiful duplex mews house.

All unlisted extensions to the side of the listed building, and to its rear, have been demolished and will be replaced with modern 3-4 storey new builds containing projecting balconies & 44 one & two-bedroom flats. These will be elegantly set around a landscaped courtyard where the press from the historic build will be retained and displayed as a fabulous new feature. Upwards of fifty cycles will also be provided here.

The story so far

January- February 2022:

Demolition of the two buildings flanking the Grade II listed building, has been completed
