In brief

Located about a mile from Birmingham's City Centre on the Coventry Road in Small Heath, this 43-acre park was donated to the city by Mrs. Louisa Ryland in the 1870s, and today plays host to various events, fairs and bonfires throughout the year.

Coventry Road no 60 bus views

If you catch the no 60 bus anywhere on the Coventry Road, such as from Swan Island in South Yardley, sit on the top deck. You will get a view of the park on your left, if you are riding the bus into the City Centre. There is a boarded up park keepers lodge at the end.
