In brief

The Lamp Works is a contemporary residential-led regeneration scheme of 148 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and duplexes, amenities and commercial spaces.

Composed of six distinct blocks designed to reflect the architectural heritage of the Jewellery Quarter, The Lamp Works will be set around striking landscaped courtyards and outdoor spaces.

With historic buildings set to be revived, residents will benefit from high-quality communal facilities, including co-working space, a shared lounge, and a studio and communal kitchen/diner.

30-33 Great Hampton Street [GHS] – otherwise known as The Blue Nile restaurant, facing onto GHS – will be restored with new traditional shopfronts, windows & a new roof. Upper floors would then offer four living spaces, along with a first-floor terrace.

A centrally placed steel frame to one building will also be retained in the central courtyard as a subtle nod to the area’s proud history.

17 vehicular spaces, including 8 EV charging points, and 132 secure cycles, will serve the development.
